Life goes so very fast and often when the days seem to slip by it gets you thinking about the years ahead and those gone by – your thoughts slide from the unknown future back to what has gone on before?
Do you think about the past with regret or with remorse and sorrow, over the:-
- life lived…
- decisions made or not made…
- words said or not said…
- deeds done or not done…
- hopes and dreams unrealized and…
- things not faced or accomplished?
Do you reflect and… regret?
There is always something we have not done or a person we have hurt or words said or dreams not achieved or…..!
Maybe you have plans which are half done, a quarter done or not done at all, or…!
Do you have a legacy that you want to leave but at this stage the only thing that you have to show for it, is a trail of aspirations not achieved…!
Do not live your days in regret, as every day heralds in a new beginning! So do not let your inner critic pull you down nor your inner voice tell you it is too late as, it is never too late as you can begin again!
It is not about how long you will live nor the fame or wealth and possessions attained. It is all about living your life to the full and making a difference. Whatever that difference means to you, as it is a personal thing, but should include:
- truth, honesty, respect, simplicity, kindness, consideration and love.
Yes, there is always an opportunity for a new beginning, so make this moment, this right now, your new beginning!
Do not stand at the mirror and see the face of a failure.
Do not let your eyes see any faults…doubt, guilt or regret.
Instead, stand at the mirror and see the face of a wonder… someone whose blood pulses and brings with it continuing life.
Yes, stand at that mirror and let your eyes twinkle with understanding, hope and a belief in oneself.
Just believe and then you will achieve!

Sometimes in life we need a helping hand to be able to ‘live’ for today, let go of the past and not worry about the future and it is when you can do that, then yes you can fly free but when you cannot, the baggage and worry will only hold you back and pull you down.
Never feel ashamed or unable to ask for help if you need to, as, once you have you will realize that a ‘problem shared is a problem halved’. Then, when you are ready, and you will know when, you will to be able to ‘fly free’ for yourself. But just know that you do have the strength inside – it is just sometimes hidden deep within and beneath a layer of many things…
My inspirational book ‘Musings of a Blogger – Inspirational Thoughts for Your Life’s Journey’ will give you the ‘helping hand’ and can be one of the ‘tools of support’ to be able to help you ‘fly free’!
As you immerse yourself within its pages, you will come to realize just how much choices, circumstances and people influence your life, both in negative and positive ways and, can keep you…
living in the past, worrying about the future and, subsequently, missing your today!
This is great news though as AWARENESS is the key…awareness that we all have a choice no matter how hard life is. We all have a choice to ‘step out’ from the darkness, the past and worry of the future.
Read my book and work through the workbook, utilizing the tools that are applicable for you, where you will learn, realize and begin a journey of self-discovery. You will start to recognize that within yourself is a wonderful, unique human being, and through perseverance, you will find your true self again—your own authentic self!
How wonderful is that?
